FULLY AUTOMATIC CORE RENEWAL STARTED

Core Handling has supplied a fully automatic core renewal line to Sappi Gratkorn mill. Gratkorn mill has the sheet cutting capacity of 800.000 t/a.

Core renewal for 120mm (5") cores has been integrated into mill’s internal core logistic. The cores are taken to renewal via an elevator/conveyor system and the renewed 7,5m long cores are transferred automatically to the mill’s core storage.
